USFS Memorial Fund

The Competitive Skaters Assistance Program and the Academic Scholarship Program awards are distributged annually to qualified athlets. These awards are based on financial need and competitive history. Specific information along with criteria and applications, which are available in June each year, can be found on the U.S. Figure Skating web site

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is an agreement between a sponsor and an athlete. Both private and corporate sponsors can support athletes and their skating through sponsorships. Athletes can accept payment directly because U.S. Figure Skating is not involved in this process. For more information visit the U.S. Figure Skating web site.

USOC Awards and Grants

The U.S. Olympic Committee financially supports U.S. Figure Skating athletes through awards given to those nominated by the USOC and U.S. Figure Skating International Committee. Additional information regarding the awards distributed by the USOC can be found at www.usolympicteam.com.

Chevrolet Scholastic Honors Team

Chevrolet and U.S. Figure Skating have teamed up to provide awards for athletes who are juniors or seniors in high school and have distinguished themselves in both figure skating and high school academics. Detailed information and applications, which are available in May each year, can be found on the U.S. Figure Skating web site.
